Make these edible looking coasters out of cork, felt, and embroidery thread!
Plain cork coasters are pretty easy to find but super boring. I wanted a fun and easy way to cutesie-fy them. (that's a word right?). I give you donut coasters, a super easy and cute DIY perfect for a gift or yourself. Although if you're like me, you might make them intending to give them as a gift but keeping them for yourself instead...
Here's what you need:

Round cork coasters

Felt - light and dark pink

Embroidery thread in multiple colours

Scissors

Hot glue gun

A blunt needle with a wide eye
The process is really quite simple. Start out by cutting a piece of felt the same shape and size as your coaster. Next cut waves around the edges to make it look like icing, and a hole in the middle. Thread various colours of embroidery thread through to make it look like sprinkles and tie in the back. To finish your coasters, hot glue the felt onto the cork, press firmly and voila!
Enjoy with a glass of milk and a whole bunch of donuts! Or not, but just be careful not to use these coasters if you're hungry.
