Hello everybody.
In today's video I will show you how to make super trendy and beautiful bookend to spice out your inner space
First the materials you will need:
Animal toy
White cement mixture
Gold spray paint
Thick plastic paper

paint the animal gold and after it fully dry cut in the middle for two equal pieces
Make four rectangles from the plastic paper (two will use as a base\horizontal and the oter two will be our vertical wall)
four rectangles for two couple of bookends
two rectangles for one bookend
make the concrete mixture and pour into our plastic rectangles and place the cut side into the mixture
wait 24 hours.
when dry peel the plastic to let the concrete breath and give it a nice sanding
now, make another rectangle shape from the plastic paper but a bit shortet (that will use as our base)
if you made four last time make four again.
fill the smaller rectangles with white concrete almust all the way.
lie them against each other, then when its still wet shove the dry piece in (at the edge of the rectangle to get 90 d)
after 24 hours pop your product from the mold, give it a nice sandind with sand paper (give a rough sandind if needed!) and you're all done :)

Love the idea. I think if the toys are hollow I'd fill each half with concrete too, let dry, then proceed. I'd do this just to give more heft to the book ends.

Uh, I was raised on the farm. Don't know if you were making a wall street set of bookends, but that is not a bull, just saying! No matter, I want to do this for the kids as a grandpa, lots of animals at Orscheln's.
