This piece is so insanely simple, so chic and just all around a piece I am truly stoked about. This is not for everybody since some humans aren't a fan of the minimalistic vibe but for those who are - this is the perfect DIY room decor for you!
Gather your materials: list is below! Get crazy though if you want to paint the canvas, decoupage on it, marbleize it, tape it off and paint it - whatever your heart desires. Remember sharing is caring! Let me know what you'd do differently (you are bound to inspire another DIY'er)!
I'm using this craft wood to make a DIY frame! I cut it down with with my table saw but you could use a handsaw since it's so soft.
I painted and placed the lettering (my boyfriend and I's anniversary in Roman Numerals) onto the canvas where I saw fit. I thought it looked great centered!
I then e6000 it to the canvas.
This is what you should have so far BUT again, get creative and decorate the DIY to match your space.
I just used hot glue to seal the craft wood to the sides and then flipped it over and add some glue to the back.
And this is the final look! I am totally obsessed since my office is minimalistic and a lighter color pallet.
Be sure the check out the full tutorial on my YouTube channel where I provide more detail. Thanks for being so awesome - happy DIY'ing!
