I’ve been enjoying playing around with Yarn lately as it is so versatile.
Incase you missed my previous yarn posts, you should definitely check out my Pom Pom Earring Display and Lampshade Makeover Project.
And today I decided to recycle some empty bottles that I had in my house and give them an Ombre Yarn Makeover.
I had two of these bottles and they were actually perfect in size since I could split it in three different sections to give an ombre effect.

These were all the options for the yarn color but I chose shades of purple for one bottle and for the other shades of blue.

The idea is simple and that is to wrap the yarn around the bottle using Mod Podge.
Apply the Mod Podge in segments and then start wrapping the yarn around, I like to start from the top and work my way down.

When one color is done, start wrapping the other shade of yarn into it the previous portion so it all blends in.
Keep applying the Mod Podge and wrapping the yarn around.
This is how my bottle was coming around.
The idea is so simple, just use some yarn but the bottles look so good now.
And there you have it.
What do you guys think?
