How to create a simple and minimal frame for a poster - this is a great project for a gallery wall and is a really fun way to display a poster without spending a ton on a big fancy frame! If you love this project, you can see more DIY projects for the home on my blog, Love & Renovations.

Start by cutting your lattice down to the approximate width of your poster (I added 1/2 inch on either side), then stain or paint them in your desired color.

Apply a line of wood glue to the back of two strips, then sandwich them on the poster, making sure to line up the edges.

NOTE: Alternately, you could use magnets in your wood if you want to be able to change out the poster regularly.

Clamp the two lattice pieces together, then repeat the process on the bottom of the poster.

Use small hooks inserted into the lattice to attach string to the top of the poster frame so that you can hang it.

Hang the poster using a single screw. If you want more details on this project (including how I reinforced the back of the poster to prevent ripping), along with sources for all of the art, you can get all of that info plus more photos on the full blog post.
