How to take a boring living room corner and turn it into a work of art with a three- dimensional ombre effect.
Decide the corner that you want to paint.
It's the coolest corner in our home! With ombre colors, it gives depth and dimension.
Find a corner in your home that you want to transform. Then look for a stencil you love. I suggest surfing Etsy as they have AMAZING stencils to choose from.
Sketch out your design BEFORE you start your paint project. Remember, the stencil is your basic guide. But you can design so many different things with that stencil.
Finally, pick an ombre of colors. I chose just 5 different colors just slightly different from each other. This allowed me to create a pattern that has depth and variation.
The ombre colors and design pattern give a feeling of depth. It's so cool because it feels like the artwork is moving depending on where you are in the room.
Suggested materials:
  • Paint   (Dunn Edwards)
  • Stencil   (Etsy)
  • Paint Brushes

Do you wash the pattern between paintings so the wall doesn’t

    get dirty?

This design reminds me of the CBC (Canadian Broadcasting Corporation) Logo.
