The new craze is a teepee party. It’s so lovely and looks super fun. Hiring a teepee company? Not so fun! It’s so expensive. So, I decided to do it myself and did it for around £35.

DIY Teepee

This was the finished result. I was absolutely over the moon

Materials

Gather Your Materials

  • 8 bamboo canes (I got 10 for 60p in Wilko)
  • 2 white shower curtains
  • String
  • Decor

Pull Canes Together

For the beds I used my sons cotbed mattress. I had a spare one so they didn’t cost anything. I then pulled the canes together to form a peak and wrapped with string to secure.

This video shows you how I brought it all together before styling

I then used flower garlands, lights and chalk boards to dress the teepee and finished off with a tray each for snacks etc

DIY Bed Teepees

Absolutely over the moon how this turned out! And the girls loved it!

Cute idea. Question: the shower curtain would get pretty warm to sleep under wouldn't it? Especially if it was plastic!!
