DIY Vase Makeover

I wanted a new vase, however I did not want to pay for a new vase. So, I looked around my house and found some old marble Contact paper from an old project I did. I knew the contact paper would be the perfect thing to help give my vase the make over it needed!

I used contact paper and scissors for this project. And, here is the vase I wanted to give a face-lift to! It's so pretty, but I love new things for new seasons so a change was in order!

Unroll your contact paper and measure the height of your vase. Luckily, my contact paper gad lines on the inside to help with cutting!

Make a mark in your paper of the approximate size you'll need.

Cut out your contact paper. I used a white marble contact paper that is easily removable. I suggest this so you can keep giving your vase make over after make over!

Peel the back of that contact paper off, you're ready to apply! Apply according to directions. I was able to peel off the paper slowly as I was applying to decrease air bubbles.

Fold the top down to help smooth out the paper.

And style! Now you have an affordable and easy way to have a new vase any time you want one! I love this idea and can't wait to add marble contact paper to everything in my entire house! (Maybw not everything, but you get the picture, lol!)
