DIY Wine Bottle Stopper

The 2 Seasons
by The 2 Seasons
Do you ever take a bottle of wine to your hostess when you are invited for dinner or for a party? This is an easy and thoughtful gift that you can make to accompany that bottle of wine. It takes just minutes to make, and makes a simple bottle of wine a little more personal and special. Or, if you often have wine left in the bottle but don't want to pour it out, this cute stopper will make that left over bottle of wine a little bit more interesting.
Doesn't this cute wine stopper look better than just a simple cork? It's simple to make.
You need just three items plus a marker. The main item is a drawer pull which you can find at a hardware store or a craft store. The cuter it is, the better. Then you need a cork, and a screw that has the top removed.
Just put the screw into the drawer pull.
Then mark the center of the cork with a pen or marker.
The final step is to twist the screw into the cork.
That's all there it to it. You will have a cute stopper for a partially used bottle of wine.
This is an easy way to add a little fluff and cuteness to something that is plain. Please visit our blog for other simple DIY projects and to see the full post.
