DIY Wood Photo Plaques

It's the second Wednesday of the month, which means it's time for another This month's theme was "metallic paint" and I decided to use my favorite metallic gold spray paint to make a couple wood photo plaques for my hall gallery wall.
I kept the project simple and used precut wood from Michaels. A few simple steps later and I had the perfect customized place to share beautiful pictures of my kids. The best part is, it's super easy to change and rotate pictures!

i have back splash that i hate--can i just put peel & stick tile on top of them--i worry about the end being too high--also every so often i have a medallion as decorative piece-- will peel & stick work? i do not want to take the tiles down as they are all grouted and i feel i might also destroy the wall-causing me work i cannot fix.

Love it!! I might just go a little more "me" and paint or decorate the wood board around the edges for a little "extra"....so fun!!! and it'll save me a bundle on buying frames all the time!!!
