I found this gorgeous little old dolls wardrobe at a garage sale for $10. It definitely needed a revamp, but I knew I needed to take it. And knowing my little girl just got an Our Generation doll I knew this would be perfect. Check out how I gave it a cute little make over!
I started by filling in a few dents and dings and then I sanded it down. Not completely just lightly as I was going to use primer anyway.
I first primed and painted it.
Then, I decided to decoupage some sweet fabric to the interior of the wardrobe. I then cut the fabric to size, by measuring then cutting out baking paper to make sure it was right. I used mod podge glue for underneath and two layers on top.
I used a spatula to smooth it out and get into the corners. And then let it dry!
It's looking so cute!
The end result looks amazing and my daughter loves it! I am so happy with the results! I hope you like it too!
