Using only the natural elements around your garden and those you collect from the sea shore can create a beautiful door wreath. As Christmas approaches, I plan to add touches of the season to the wreath. The project cost $0.00 as I had all supplies on hand. here's how I made this one.
I love recycling my old grapevine wreaths. I never throw them away, I just remove the old stuff and then create new ones.
We have a bay leaf tree in our backyard. I went out and cut several of the young tender branches off of the tree. Brought them inside and began arranging them around the wreath.
Once I had arranged the bay leaves around the wreath I added sea shells all around the the wreath. I made a burlap bow and attached the bow. I wanted everything to be of natural elements. that is why I used the burlap for a bow.
Finally, I took it outside and hung it on my front door. I love it!
The finished wreath!
