Easy and Inexpensive Alcohol Ink Coasters!

If you have ever worked with alcohol inks, you know how pretty they are. Add a ceramic tile and you have some beautiful and easy coasters!

Here are some highlights, but be sure to watch the video to see how I made the different styles:
Start with an inexpensive tile from your home improvement store. I think I found these for 45 cents each. Clean them with some rubbing alcohol to get rid of any dust and oils and let them dry.
Drip on your alcohol ink.
Add more colors.
Then I used a wooden skewer to start swirling the colors. It's great if they overlap and blend because then it gives you a whole new color!
Keep swirling!
And swirling! When you are done, set it aside to dry. To protect them, use a spray sealer and add some felt or silicone pads on the bottom to protect your furniture!
You are going to have so much fun with this, you are going to just start experimenting. Consider yourself warned, it's addictive!!!
