Hello friends! Today, I want to share with you how to make a paper-napkin banner! Not only is this tutorial simple and quick, it's also easy on the wallet! I made this banner in order to add to my nautical decor in our living room. You can check out that post here .
Here’s what I used…
Measure out your string’s length and start placing glue dots along the inside-folded edges. Like this…
Fold over, and press firmly along the folded edge to seal.
Keep going...
...and going...
...until you're finished with the desired length of your garland.
But I didn’t want to stop there. No. I’ve had this whale-style ribbon for quite some time now, and I think it’s high-time that I use it! (Yes, I bought about 7 yards of this trim a few years ago because it was literally 20 cents total! I couldn't pass up on that deal!)
And then gently place the ribbon on top.
You could always use more glue dots on the bottom, inside edges of your napkins to keep them from blowing open, but I kind of like the casual vibes of these “open” napkins.
To say that I love glue dots is an understatement. You can use them for so many projects...and for just holding things in place!

As a banner A+. My neighbor used this idea for curtains and it didn't work at all It was all I could see from my kitchen window and I could see right into their home. But at the time the husband was in law school and there were 3 kids. He has graduated and they have now moved into a beautiful new home with custom new drapes. So happy for them. Sometimes you just have to use what you can to get by. But as I said they are a really cute banner.
