EASY DIY MOSS WREATH

I decided to make my own moss wreath. I know, I know, they’re fairly easy to come by. But I love a good craft project, especially when you're hanging with a friend and laughing all the way. So my friend Dawn and I sat down one night and had a little moss wreath making party of two.
It took two friends and two supplies to make a moss wreath, both of which we found at the dollar store: a wreath form and sheet moss.

After a lot of trial and error, we finally figured out that cutting small strips of moss and wrapping them around similar to how you’d wrap ribbon around was the best option. So with a little hot glue (and a lot of care not to burn our fingers too many times), we cut and glued over and over again.
I used some velvet ribbon to hang them off our chairs and I love how simply beautiful they turned out.
So the next time you have a friend in need of craft therapy, a moss wreath might be the answer. Come on by and see what else we are up to :) https://www.theshabbycreekcottage.com/
