No longer is there an excuse for blank bare walls. Fabric is versatile material and it offers a great low-cost solution for creating low-cost unique wall art. Decorating a new space or updating an old space can be a bit of a daunting task at times. And despite the affordable options in stores like Homegoods and Target, it can get expensive really quick. I’m going to show you how to avoids high costs while achieving a unique look that matches the style and personality of your home using fabric.
Start out with the materials. Here’s what you’ll need:
  • Picture frames - I got these for under $3 from Walmart
  • Fabric Fat quarters - You can find these for about $1 at Walmart. depending on the size of the frame this can fill two frames.
  • Stencil Paint brush
You can hold the stencil in place with tape.
You can also layer the stencils
place the fabric in the frame.
Now hang the frames in the pattern on choice on the wall.
You can also add an additional creative touch to the outside of the frame with acryclic paint markers and the fabric paint.
Get creative.
don't hold back. Using an acrylic paint marker we made "Harry the Hippo" look like he was swimming with the fishiesicon
