I made a she shed this summer and love it! I wanted to add some more to it's interior and found a little stove to put in it. Since the floor to my outdoor she shed is wood chips I thought I better make a hearth for it.
So I found a piece of scrap wood and got started.
I picked up this whole box of round tiles free at a garage sale. I knew I would find use for them somewhere. They worked perfect for making my hearth, Added marbles and round tile pieces with nail sealer.
I created a mosaic design on the wooden board and then I grouted it with sanded grout. I let it dry really well.
It fits perfect and will be great for the winter. I just love how it looks and it will be a great thing to have!
My re-purpose she shed.

There are so many tiles left over I'm sure I will find something else to make using them. Here it is in my outdoor she shed.
I will use them for another project soon!
Hope you enjoyed my project!
