This DIY floral chandy is inexpensive, fast and easy!
I attached the additional greenery and flowers to the floral garland using hot glue. Floral wire was used to wrap the finished garland around the light and attach the garland to itself. There was a lot of left over greenery and stems (which means more projects!)
I decided to add an old metal basket I had lying around as well to give it a more farmhouse feel. I just removed the handle, turned it upside down, unscrewed the light bulb and reattached with the basket between the light fixture and the bulb (the bulb is holding the basket in) It's a very light-weight basket so this works just fine for this project.
Faux floral stems and greenery from your local craft store (these particular items were purchased at JoAnn Fabrics)
Floral Garland - this served as the base for the chandelier.
Faux Greenery Stems. I cut small twigs off using a floral shears.
Faux flowers and lambs ear as well as a bouquet of eucalyptus. I trimmed small pieces off of these as well to attach to my garland.
This is the Before picture of the hanging light.
This is the After picture with the Floral Chandelier attached to the hanging light. Farmhouse Shabby Chic!
