Flower Vases From Salt & Pepper Shakers

Take your mason jar painting skills down a notch and create these small & sweet vases from salt and pepper shakers found at the Dollar Tree!
For this project, you'll need a set of glass salt & pepper shakers from the Dollar Tree, black chalkboard paint (spray or brush-on...either will work), acrylic paint (I used Americana's Sea Glass), paint brush, sand paper, hot glue gun & accents (ribbon, paper flowers, etc.).
I removed the lids and applied a coat of black chalkboard paint. Once this was dry, they were painted with a coat of acrylic paint in the shade of Sea Glass. A little more dry time followed by roughing up the edges with sand paper and you have yourself some adorable miniature vases! Ribbon and paper flowers were glued on for fun and some wildflowers were picked for the finishing touch.

I tried this but used enamel acrylic. Waiting dry time out to sand. Will sanding take the brush marks out? I used small coke bottles.
