I found this little guy sitting on a Shelf at Michaels and I knew he had to come home with me! However I'm not a huge gold fan so I had to put my spin on him.
I started off with my seaspray anchored paint, my mermaid tail brush and I had some fun!!!!! I painted the first coat and within less than 5 minutes it was dry so I was on to the next coat. I let a little bit of the cold shine through just for a little bit of bling. However I wanted to have more depth so I picked my next color of sea spray which was mermaid mint.
I lightly tapped my brush into the paint. Did you not need a lot of this paint to go on the brush for it to go along way plus I want to just to lightly go over the octopus.
As you can see some of the coldest shining through and the anchored and then the mermaid Mist on the top is a perfect combination!!!!
Ladies and gentlemen I'd like to introduce you to spark! My daughter helped name him. I left his underbelly gold and he will now live on my coffee table 😍

Looks great! I did an almost opposite re-paint on an octopus coat hook that my son bought for me at Home Depot.

I didn't need a coat hook, so I hung it at the top corner of the door frame. I have octopus decor in my guest bath.
