My sister's birthday is coming up and I wanted to make a gift for her. She loves the outdoors and loves the game Yahtzee, so I decided to combine the two and create the perfect gift! Here's how:

I started with a pressure treated 4X4Measured off 5- dice. 3 3/4 "4X4s are not true 4 " square hence the 3 3/4 measure don't forget your safety glasses the saw dust does fly
I then used my palm sander to smooth out any rough edges and round out the sharp corners
I then painted my dice with several coats of exterior white paint
I used a BINGO dabber to add my dots on the dice, it worked perfectly!
I cut out the letters to spell Yahtzee on both sides of a tin bucket, this looks adorable!
Then I made a reusable dry erase score board for us to use while we play!
The finished dice, ready for play. And there we go, the gift is ready for my sister! I cant wait to give it to her and play!
Suggested materials:
  • Two foot pressure treated 4X4   (Home Depot)
  • Exterior white paint   (Had a gallon in my garage)
  • Tin bucket, Bingo dabber   (Dollaramma)
