Hand Painted and Decorated Mason Jars

I am going to be a part of a wedding show tomorrow in the town I live in Cheyenne Wyoming
It's going to be held at Little America Hotel/Resort
These are a variety of mason jars I have painted and decorated
that can be used for table decor
for weddings and showers
I buy the jars at Walmart, where a box of large vases would be around 85 cents a jar and the smaller jars in a box end up being about 70 cents each. Sometime I can find older ones at thrift stores but they really don't look any different and they really aren't any cheaper. Go for the boxes of 9-12 jars at Walmart.
They can be left empty and grouped together
and can also be filled with flowers, candles and water with floating candles.
I buy most of my supplies at Hobby Lobby when they are half off and I can find some things at Walmart. I use chalk based paint to paint the jars and it usually takes a good 3 coats, sometimes I can get away with 2. After my last coat has dried for at least a good hour I distress the jar. Two ways I like to distress is wet distressing with a wet rag or a wet green scrubby and dry distressing with 150-220 sand paper.
After I distress the jar I apply a coat of polyacrylic to seal the paint. Once that is dry I can add my embellishments of ribbon, twine, burlap and fabric flowers.
Even though I did these for a wedding show doesn't mean they can't be used for other things. Some other ideas are pencil and pen holders, use in the bathroom to store toothbrushes, cotton balls, Q tips, makeup brushes, decor in your home, decorate them for different holidays and use for decor in your home, use them to put flowers or plants (like succulents). There are so many uses and so many ways to dress them up.
This is a set of coral, white and navy with twine wrapped around top 4 to 5 times and tied in a bow.
These 3 are done in a mint chalk based paint and adorned with pearls that I bought at Hobby Lobby in the wedding section.
These 3 were painted in an ivory with twine around top and adorned with some fabric flowers I found at Hobby Lobby. I only buy my supplies when they are half off at Hobby Lobby, which happens frequently. Just watch the adds.
This trio was painted with a color called duck egg and adorned with burlap, lace and pearls. This is one of my favorites.
This color is called lilac and is adorned with fabric flowers in some contrasting purples, lace and twine tied around the top. One of the chalk based paints I used on these was Folk Art from Hobby Lobby, which has great coverage, they come in small jars and a little goes a long way. I also used a brand called Americana but did not like the coverage it gave. I paint furniture for my job so I have other chalk based paints on hand that I used. I like Annie Sloan, Country Chic, Vintage Market & Design, and American Paint Company.

What or how do you adhere the flowers, burlap, etc to the jars? What kind of glue if any?
