I love creating these high end dupes.

For this one all you need is some baby proofing furniture foam guard and a plastic container.

I love these Areaware Planters so stylish!

But they retail for around a $100 so I decided to DIY a dupe.

Step one:

You will need a roll of furniture foam guard. You can order this off Amazon if you don't find it in your local Walmart.

Step two:

Grab an empty cylindrical vessel plastic or tin up to you and your preference. I recommend making sure whatever you use is big enough to fit your plant.

Step three:

Put double sided tape around your container or for adhesive you can use super glue. Add adhesive in a row like as shown in the picture above.

Step four:

This is the easiest part, take your foam and wrap it around your container making sure the rows are close together and there isn't too much gapping space in between

Step five:

Spray paint any color you like I chose the one closest to the high end example I used as inspiration

And voila! What do you think did we nail it?

Let me know what you think in the comments below!

I'd say you nailed it for sure! Great job. Wonderful creativity. Wonder if I could use an old mop bucket and do this for a larger plant?

That project turned out just great. It's very appealing and not too busy.

Thank you for sharing your idea. Will definitely try to do the same.

I just looked up your other projects. You certainly have a flair for this.
