Learn how to make your own fun DIY glitter lip balm. This glitter lip balm adds both tint and sparkle to lips and is a great craft project and gift idea for teen girls! Or make these for DIY party favors!
To make this DIY glitter lip balm, you'll need my rose lemonade glitter lip balm recipe from Soap Deli News blog here as well as cera bellina wax, oat butter, Bulgarian rose floral wax, shea nut oil, castor oil, pink lemonade flavor oil, pink mica and cosmetic glitters.

Begin by weighing out the cera bellina wax, rose wax and oat butter into a small beaker. Heat at 40% power in the microwave until melted.

Once the waxes and butter have melted, weigh out the shea nut oil and castor oil and stir into the melted ingredients. If the product solidifies, gently reheat until the lip balm base has once again melted.

Next, use a graduated transfer pipette to measure out the pink lemonade flavor oil and stir into the melted lip balm base.
Now measure out the pink lip safe mica and lip safe cosmetic glitters. Stir into the melted lip balm base until the additional ingredients are evenly distributed throughout and there are no remaining clumps.
Now pour your DIY glitter lip balm into five .15 oz. lip balm tubes. Allow the lip balm to cool and harden before capping.
If desired, you can decorate your lip balm tubes with glitter washi tape and stickers! Your DIY glitter lip balms will reach their final consistency by the next day. So I recommend waiting to try them out on your lips! You'll love how moisturizing and pretty your new DIY glitter lip balm is on lips!
