I love old table lamps, I mean vintage table

lamps. I am not into the 70’s lamps yet. I knew I didn’t need it for a lamp but I knew I could repurpose it into something amazing.

I love how it looks with my flowers and other brass candlesticks.

This lamp has all the vintage goodness, milk glass, marble base and brass. First I took off the harp and the socket area. Then I pulled the electrical all out of it.

Then it was time to clean it all up. I used Bar Keepers Friend on the brass part which made it look lovely. I needed to somehow make the candle holder area a little smaller for my candle. I used some cardboard and E6000 to make it. I just made a circle and hot glued it together and put some E 6000 in the base and glued it in.

Now I needed to pretty up that area, so I got out some scrap booking paper and old lace and ribbon and covered that area up. I did find out that the bigger taper candle at Hobby Lobby works well in there without the the smaller piece.

Make sure to use E6000 not hot glue to glue your piece in. That way it won't melt when you candle is burning.

Now I am on the look out for more lamps.
