This DIY project is quick, simple, easy and inexpensive to recreate and can give your room a nice change of decoration. This lace canvas DIY is a great way to change up your decor. Happy crafting! 
Step 1: Paint your canvas the color that you want to show through the lace design. Let dry.
Step 2: Lay your lace over the canvas and tuck and tape any excess underneath the canvas.
Step 3: In a well ventilated area or outside and spray paint a thin layer over the lace design. You can go over it again if you need to. When you are finished spraying remove the lace and let dry.
And you're done!

I've seen this idea for small areas, but not something so potentially large. I think I would use map pins to hold the lace in place, especially in the middle. Have you done a large canvass yet?
