How to Dye Wood Beads for a Cute Spring Craft

4 Materials
Easy
Learn how to dye wood beads with this easy tutorial. This the perfect project for adding Spring decor into your home or for a fun keychain accessory.

Gather dye and wood beads in the color and size you desire. For this project, I used 5mm wood beads, but this project can easily be scaled to work with larger beads that are used in decor.

Prepare the dye cups according to the manufactures directions and submerge your wood beads. Once dyed to the color you are interested in, remove beads and be sure that they are completely dry before working with them.

Stringing your newly dyed beads into an adorable keychain is super easy! Simply wrap the cording around the keyring and pull taut. Then thread the two ends of the cording into each bead. Once you have the length you desire, knot the cording and snip the ends.
