Hey Hometalk! I’m making a few boards with epoxy and a few without! These are real easy to make with a jig saw🙌🏼🙌🏼 These are great gifts, or to keep for your own kitchen.

First, I laid out a pair of walnut slabs and drew a board idea on them with a piece of chalk. These seemed like they’d make a good pair!

Them I clamped them down and used my straight draw to get the bark off the inside of both pieces.

Bark free on the inside🙌🏼

I put Tyvek tape on the bottom and up the sides to hold in the epoxy. Also, make sure everything is level 😜

I used a jig saw to cut my shape once the epoxy cured.

I didn’t love the straight lines so I rounded it a bit more and sanded the top to 120.

I used my painters tape roll to give me my curve🙌🏼

Bam! Monster. Now for the wine and cheese🥳🥳

It looks great!!! Could you have trimmed the wood instead of putting in the epoxy??
