How to Make a Sisal Rope Vase

I love using sisal rope for DIY projects. For this project, I decided to take one of my inexpensive clear vases I received with an arrangement and give it a new look. Supplies you will need for this makeover are, 1/4 inch sisal rope and a glue gun.
Begin by gluing down your end and wrapping it tightly around the vase.
Glue and push the rope down as you circle the vase.
Tuck the final piece and glue to secure.
This is a perfect use of old vases you have on hand or pick up from a thrift store. It blends perfectly with many different types of decor styles. Come over to the blog and see how beautiful it looks styled with a bouquet of flowers. In addition, you can see a DIY sisal rope basket project I've created.

what do you do with the end of the sisal when you start and when you end so it does not unravel?
