How to Make Windows Look Like Stained Glass With Alcohol Ink!

I just discovered alcohol ink & I love what it does on non-porous surfaces, like glass! I started with an old window, cleaned it with just windex & then took liquid leading to add a cute outdoor scene. Keep in mind I'm not an artist, so my outdoor scene is very primitive!
The liquid leading is very easy to use, just squeeze the bottle & draw any design you like.
To do the bottom ground area, I used three shades, two different shades of green & then a brown.
Just place a few drops at a time & just sorta finger paint.
Then just play with different colors, it seemed the more I blended the different colors the prettier it looked. I've just started using alcohol ink so I'm still trying to find the best techniques!
This is really primitive, but I'm going to keep practicing until I get it right! Until then wish me luck!

when using alcohol inks on glass...do you have to first apply rubbing alcohol to the glass surface? or do you use the inks straight from the bottles...then let the ink dry? Do you also spray a varnish over the finished piece to protect it and make it permanent?
