Hi! I wanted to share with you how you can repurpose an old wooden cutting board. This is easy to make and fun for all ages!

Before

Begin with an old wooden cutting board. I found this one at Good will for $1.23.

Supplies I used

Make sure cutting board cutting board surface is clean. Once clean apply one coat of Java Gel stain to the outside edges of the cutting board with the foam brush. Wipe off excess with an old t-shirt or shop towel. You want the stain to penetrate the wood. (I happened to have this stain on hand. If you do not any stain will work. Old cutting boards are typically very worn and stain seeps into the wood great!)

The picture above is after one coat of Gel Stain. I then went back and wiped away the excess stain with a shop towel. Let dry. While stain is drying add liquid nails to the back of the Lego Sheet.

Adding liquid nails

After you have applied liquid nails turn the Lego sheet back over and press it firmly down onto the cutting board. You can now start to see your mini Lego table come to life! :)

Great job! You have a complete mini Lego table. You now have a way to repurpose your old cutting boards!
