We all remember Laura’s love of Miss Beadle’s Lemon Verbena perfume in Little House on the Prairie. This project is a simple and fun way to create your own unique twist on the Lemon Verbena homegoods of Laura’s time.
Gather your supplies for these fabric yo-yo inspired herbal sachets. The fabric is the Little House on the Prairie Andover Fabrics collection. You'll also want a template for a circle, thread and needle, scissors, and your herbal materials for stuffing inside the fabric yo-yos.
Now you'll want to cut your fabric circles. They don't have to be perfect circles so use whatever template you want to use. We used a glass jar lid.
You'll need to sew around the edges of the circle, folder over the edge as you go. Use a running stitch so it's easy to pull the thread closed.
Finish your fabric yo-yo and then stuff it with your fragrant herbal material. Of course you'll want to use lemon verbena!
