In a world full of email, texting, and emojis we don’t have to write much. So when you do it’s pretty unique. It’s a special thing to receive a letter. They write You read, You write They read, it’s a unique bond, sounds a little old fashion but what can I say… I’m an old fashion kind of girl. All this talk of letter writing has me thinking about stationary. I haven’t had real stationery since I was a teenager, perfect excuse to make some. Maybe this craft will inspire me to write more letters. I really want to get a letter exchange going with my Nana, I know I would cherish her letters forever. OK OK enough about me. On to the tutorial!

Fill pan with shaving creamNot too much not to little, the more shaving cream the more food coloring you will have to add
Add Food Coloring to pan and swirl it around with toothpick or strawYou can use any color combination you want, you can’t mess this DIY up, go for it
Place stationary in colored shaving creamLightly tap paper to make sure it touches shaving cream
Remove paper quickly, you don’t want it to get too wet from the shaving cream
Firmly holding shaving cream stationary at one cornerUse metal or plastic ruler to wipe off excess shaving cream
Allow 3-5 minutes to dryPlace under heavy books once dry to ensure paper doesn’t curl
