Mason Jar Decor

Mason jars are such a great and inexpensive way to decorate and organize. I had some extra jars sitting in my basement and decided to upcycle them and make some cute decor.

For now, mine lives in my kitchen with some faux florals, but you can use these in all kinds of spaces in your home. Bathrooms for cotton swabs or makeup brushes, office for pens/pencils, or kitchen for utensils! The possibilities are endless.

What I used:

Mason jars

Paint

Burlap

Twine

Faux florals

Step 1: Paint

I chose to keep mine white so it would match all my decor, but you can use whatever color you like! I like how chalk paint looks on glass so that’s what I went with here.

Step 2: Add Burlap

Mason jars are so cute and farmhouse-y, and when I saw my extra burlap, I knew I had to add some. I just hot glued it to the jar once the paint dried.

Step 3: Finishing touches

Finally, I found some old twine and wrapped the tops to give it a little something extra. You can also paint letters on them, add tags or charms, or anything else you can think of!

To finish it off, I just added in some faux florals. For me this was a $0 project that came out so cute, and now I have a use for these old mason jars - win win!
