Mason Jar light with pretty fall glow
You can add what you want to your mason jar to complement your own decorating scheme.

I wanted a new light for our old pine table but did not want to purchase anything new. I started looking around and decided to try my hand by using a mason jar.
How it looks on the pine table
A little different look on the old pine table.
Paint the inside of the jar
I swirlled two diffent paint colors inside the jar to create a look to match the pumpkin candle holder which I had on hand. Drain the paint out of the jar by sitting on a plastic and paper towel to absorb the paint. I used acrylic but next time I think I will try enamel. It will most likely adhere a little better.
Gather Your supplies to make the lamp.
I had all of these things on hands. You will need a paper sack, tissue paper, faux flowers and a candle lamp.
Inside of jar
Stuff the inside of the jar very gently with the paper bag and tissue paper to a height that you want. The candle lamp had been used in another project and it still has the paper bag glued to the base, which needs to be done to stablize the light.
Painted ring and flowers arranged
Place the flowers around the ring and candle lamp in a way pleasing to your eye.

Enjoy your completed project. Come see me at Quaker Hill Farm for more details!
