I had 12 left over wall decals from my small wall space, the butterfly decals were too pretty to store away on a shelf. So I decided to make a mobile with them for my grand daughter to hang on her bedroom door. I actually liked using these decals because they are colorful for one, have a high gloss and came in different sizes. Inexpensive and a great craft project with and for kids.
I used thin 28 gauge wire. The adhesive on back is strong enough for the wire to stick.
Decals are back to back with the wire between them
Now they are easy to bend into shape in order to string on the beaded wire. Or use them with the flat decals on the wall.
Full details. Easy. Cute

I love this idea. I have some really pretty butterflies left from some scrapbooking pages I did and they are almost like yours. I also have 3 granddaughters so this is what those are going to turn into!! Thanks for sharing. I would have never come up with this alone. I think I will sting it with clear and colored plastic beads since they like the bling thing!!!
