The picture shows a round vase I choose to use my cylinder vase .
So here is my inspiration picture.
So here are the supplies I used to begin my project. Vase, painters tape, paint,
I was going to use the wire template and the texture paint I got from Hometalk, but it got a little complicated, ( the template) so I put that aside.
First I taped where I was going to paint my area With painters tape.
I decided to try the pattern with hot glue, so I started on my pattern ( like the picture from West Elm) waited for that to dry!! (Try to do the lines as thin as possible) mine didn’t come out as thin as would have liked!
Then I began to paint the pattern white. I gave it a few coats to make sure it was covered well. (Then I let dry in between each coat)
Once it was completely dry, I removed the painters tape and began to add the dirt and my succulent plant inside the vase
So here is the finished project! It’s not exactly perfect, but hey it’s mine so that’s ok!! Besides I like the imperfections in my project!
