Nail Polish Marbling

Nail polish marbling is something I’ve always wanted to try. Some people use mugs, plates and vases for dipping in nail polish, I used faux wood blinds. After installing the faux wood blinds board and batten in the kitchen, I still had several pieces left. The white faux wood was the perfect candidate for my nail polish marbling.
I cut the blinds to smaller pieces,
dipped them in blue nail polish and warm water,
set them out to dry,
and glued them to an old frame.
Each piece is unique.
The project is fun and easy to do. My advice – work quickly since the nail polish begins to dry quickly and creates a film on the surface of the water. A few drops of nail polish will do.
