Men's valets are always popular items I think do to the update and the fact more men like to have storage for all their treasures.

I have painted quite a few but have yet to find a double drawer one. You can see the others I reloved  HERE.

While you are on my tutorial blog you can also search jewelry boxes or other home decor.

I chose classic navy for the exterior color to coordinate with the goldy yellow lining interior. That and you can never go wrong with navy right? It is a classic color.

I chose the new  Dixie Belle silk paint line color called deep sea; a rich navy blue.

This silk paint has a built in primer and top coat making it a great one step paint. Two coats were brushed on using a Dixie Belle French tip brush on all sides. And that is it! Done!

This double decker beauty holds so much on the top and in both full length drawers.
