What do you do when you shrunk your favorite sweater? ... and it was new?

You recycle it! And if you've discovered this new fabric glue you're going to love

this no-sew project even more!

The first thing I did was to lay out my sweater on the floor and wrap it around a pillow form to determine the size I needed to cut from the sweater.

I cut the sweater to the size I needed for my pillow cover then using my new favorite craft tool, fabric hot glue, I glued the sweater sides together.

The hot glue sticks for fabric fit right into your glue gun and work like hot glue. You can find them here.

You may notice that I am leaving the pocket for one side of the pillow cover, I will explain this later.

One side of the cover is the fold, the other 3 sides get glued around the pillow insert.

As you can see the seams seal perfectly using the fabric glue!

The sweater pocket makes the perfect place to store the remote so you always know where it is!

My favorite sweater is now my favorite little pillow on the chair in my office.

And the sleeves make adorable cozies for coffee mugs or flower vases. Just hot glue the seams together on one end and keep the original sweater cuff on the sleeve.
