I love getting inspired with decors and trying to recreate it. For this DIY I tried making this Nordic vase that also serve as bookend.

This might not look as perfect as the one in online stores but it saved me money :)

First is to prepare the item that you will be needing. Here I have black clay, rolling pin ,foil and glass tube (you can buy this at pharmacy). You can also use paper if you do not have foil but make sure that it hold together.

Crumpled your foil and form into a circle. I made the base thick to make sure it will balance out the sides. Then I covered it with black clay.

Then I did the same for the side with an somewhat 'S' shape. I waited for about 3 hours to dry them all before I glued it really well. It is important to let it dry first as it will fall easily if not secured.

I was not able to to take picture but I also did a small version of the circle base to use on the top. Once it dried I connected it to hold the glass tube.

make a smaller version for the top part.

I made sure that the top part fits my glass tube. Then add water and my favorite flower . I'm planning to make a bigger one with this to hold a bouquet :)
