An easy DIY project to add some fun to your backyard or patio! All you need is some scrap wood, acrylic paint, and painters tape! I wanted a fun and simple project to add some fun to the backyard. You can do it too!
Using a board that 18 inches by 12 inches. Stain the board two days before you begin painting. Let it sit and dry.
Using painters tape line two lines across horizontally in 1/3s and paint two lines with any acrylic paint of your choice. Let dry.
While waiting for the lines to try you can start making the playing pieces! I cut out 5 circles in the wood and 5 square in the wood but rocks would be a great idea too! Then paint the pieces with another layer of acrylic paint!
The wooden playing pieces ready to be painted. I used circles and squares. I think I will use blue and orange paint.
Then line the vertical lines with painters tape again in 1/3s and paint. You are creating the # symbol.
Let the paint fully dry. Once its dried, you can start to play!
I love my DIY outdoor Tic Tac Toe game board, it was easy to create and it looks so cute!! Hope you try it as well :)
