Painted Pinecone Place Card Holders

These painted pinecone place card holders are a beautiful addition to a fall wedding or tablescape. This simple tutorial makes them easy to add to your autumn table!
I used the faux pinecones that came with our Christmas tree for this project. I knew I’d find a use for them one day!
Supplies Needed:
Dip the end of your brush in your paint and touch it along the edges of your pinecone. Let it dry, and that’s all there is to it!
I used a 2″ circle punch to make my place cards and tucked them into the pinecone spaces. See more at my blog All Things G&D - just click on the link at the bottom of this post!

Rather Square on Sep 12, 2014Love this! I had a winter wedding and we used pinecones (painted in a sheer gold metallic) as accents everywhere. The best part was that they were free - we gathered them ourselves in the forest the summer before. I love their texture, and adding painted accents really gives them a special quality. Thanks for sharing this!
