Playhouse Under the Stairs

More inspiration from our travels. We recently finished our basement. I decorated the playhouse under the stairs like the market cafes we saw on our recent trip to Portugal. The grand children are loving it!
I stenciled the words market café on an old chippy fence post. I found the blue shutters for $1 at a yard sale.
This cupboard was purchased for $4 at a thrift shop. It needed a bit of fixing up and paint.
I painted the table with a chevron design.
Pots hang on the wall for easy use.
The vintage retractable clothes line worked perfect for the Portugal feel.

Thanks so much Terri! The grands are still loving it. Even the little boys. My 3 year old grandson, Jack called it 'his kitchen'.
