Pumpkin Candle Holders

This is an easy DIY project that is perfect for the Fall holiday season. These candle holders are a fun and beautiful addition to Fall/Halloween parties or even as part of a Thanksgiving table centerpiece!
This may seem like a challenging sort of project, but I promise it's easy, and 10 minutes are all you need to create a beautiful assortment of your own pumpkin candle holders.

I made these using real miniature pumpkins, but you could use small faux pumpkins as well. Just be careful if you're using real candles or tealights that faux pumpkins aren't made of a flammable material!
Here are the supplies needed for this project:
To turn these pumpkins into candle holders, trace the diameter of the candle on the top of the pumpkin, around the stem area. Then, using a sharp knife, carefully cut around the circle you just traced. I used a double-serated grapefruit knife and it worked very well.

Scoop out the seeds and insides, then pop in a candle and they're ready to go!
Since these are made from real pumpkins, they won't last forever. They should last a few days, but if you want them for a specific event, I'd suggest waiting until the day before or the day of to make them, just to be sure they last!

You mentioned the small faux pumpkins being a fire hazard I would use the electric tealights so there will be no fire hazard by using real fire in them One question What are the stands are you using. They look silver can you tell us where you got them, thank you
