I have a bedroom set that I think is from the 1950's. How can I find out for sure?

Check the bottom of the drawers. Sometimes they are marked. Look under the frame also

Any idea who the manufacturer is or where it was purchased? Either company should have old catalogs. If not, start looking online for items that match the description on major auction sites. Some sellers list family items and have already established provenance.

Look on the back of the piece and sometimes the manufacturers name is there.
