Any way to cover the metal part of a chandelier where the bulb goes?

I have a chandelier that has hurricane shaped frosted glass around each bulb (six total). I would like to remove the glass, but when I do, you can see the white metal part that the bulb is screwed into (full sized bulbs fit, but I want to get something more decorative if I can remove the glass). Any ideas on what I can do to cover the white metal part? The chandelier is oil rubbed bronze. I really appreciate any help or suggestions.

You should be able to purchase plastic tubes that are designed to fit over the bulb holders. Check at the local home center or lighting center near your home. You can also spray paint this as well. Just mask off the rest of the fixture so no paint gets on it.
