I can't paint my apartment wall, how can I create an accent wall without painting or damaging the wall?

My favorite way to create an accent wall that is easy to change back is to use those vinyl wall clings/stickers. You can find some really cool vinyl these days or you could go on etsy and have one created for you. A lot of them now come with colors in them and can take up a large area on the wall. We painted a wall in a really pale blue/teal color and then added some vinyl that had a darker teal color in it. Good luck!

What you can do is use 3M Command hooks at ceiling height and hang curtains or fabric from them using curtain rings. The Command Hooks won't damage the wall and are easily removed. You can even hang pictures on the curtains with clips. If you don't like cutains covering a wall. You can use liquid starch and fabric. Soak the fabric in the starch, wring it out, and hang the fabric like hanging wallpaper. The fabric will peel off the wall easily, when you need to or to change it out, and just wash the wall down.

If you're able to hang nails you should check https://www.etsy.com/shop/RaisinRanch they have some seriously awesome painted wood signs.

You can use fabric and liquid starch to make removable wallpaper that will not damage your walls. http://www.apartmenttherapy.com/how-to-make-removable-fabric-w-74483

If you have a fabric you like you can soak it in fabric starch. While wet apply to the wall, it will stick. When you move just pull it off and wash the wall off.
