For how long and what temperature should I bake Play-Doh decorations?
In an article posted, mixed color Play Doh was used to make decorations. After cutting out the Play Doh, the directions said to bake the decorations, but did not give an oven temperature or time. Could you please include that information, sounds like a great idea for using mixed color Play Doh - thank you

Hey Jeanette! I think the article you are talking about was this one here:
Easy Valentine Heart Garland
You are correct, she doesn't mention a temperature, but I have cooked playdoh without any problems at 200 degrees! It didn't crack or split so I would imagine that would work for this project as well, maybe just check on them a few times while they are cooking! She mentioned 40 minutes on each side, but considering we aren't sure what temperature she used, again I would just check on them a couple times while cooking!
It's such a cute idea for playdoh that will otherwise be thrown away, I love it!
Hope this helps, and I hope your garland turns out great! Have a good one!
Well Jeanette these projects are posted by regular everyday people like you and me. Every once in a blue moon, someone my forget a detail or two. Hometalk cannot edit another person's post. Looks like you have some excellent info here. Have fun with your project!

If the playdough doesn't turn out how you like, you can always try Sculpey clay or Fimo. They are sold at craft stores and Walmart. You bake the clay to harden it and it's amazing... doesn't crack and is nice and smooth.
