Best way to hang rod iron art without having big ugly hangers?

I have a rod iron piece that I would like to attach to a head board I made and I am stumped at what to use to attach it. I want it to be secure as it will be above my head when I sleep but I don’t want big ugly screws that show.

Depending on how thick the iron is and how heavy ? These hooks are awesome and there clear and won't damage the wall if you follow the directions exactly as the directions say. they rate them on how heavy the piec is your hanging ? But I always put more hook probably more then I need but I like to make sure it won't fall off the wall.
How heavy is the decoration?
PLEASE don’t trust Command hooks! I follow their directions and get the correct size and I’m yet to have them hold for more than a few months. They let go from the adhesive attached to the Hook by the company, nothing I did! If you use screws you can paint them so they match the metal. Good luck. Stay safe.
